OUR PURPOSE

The rich natural resources of our country have attracted the attention of neighbors for centuries. New varieties of fruit orchards have been developed with the skill of wise gardeners, fruit varieties that imported from other countries and had adapted to the nature of Azerbaijan enriched the country's flora, has had a positive effect on nutrition of healthy and vitamin fruits. Palm fruit from unique fruit species is no exception from this point of view. It has been demonstrated the Azerbaijan soil is useful for this fruitful and delicious fruit and it is now impossible to imagine the fruit market of Azerbaijan without it. currently Date-Plum fruit is considered that one of the industrial destination farming area in Azerbaijan. The technology of its processing and storage has assimilated, thanks to cooling systems, the long-term storage of products has ensured. It also expands the perspectives of the Date-Plum fruit as a fruit brand of Azerbaijan, not only for domestic consumption, but also for export. Azerbaijan is now on the leading position in the production and export of palm in the CIS. At the modern stage, the main purpose of the Public Association "Date-Plum Producers and Exporters of Azerbaijan" is to expand production, develop the processing industry, give a strong impetus to export, improve farmers' income and support the country's export potential.
